Maria Luisa Pasquarella graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Perugia in 1991. After obtaining her Master's degree in Health Education and Health Promotion, she has been collaborating with the Experimental Center for Health Promotion at the University of Perugia in the areas of research and training. Maria Luisa was awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) in Educational Sciences at the University of Perugia in 2005, and is a Scholar in General and Applied Hygiene (MED42) at the University of Parma. Maria Luisa is also an actress, an expert in dance therapy and theatre therapy, a counselor and founder and Director of the School of Counseling and Dance Therapy "Fuorinerzia”, which follows an anthropological and eco-relational approach. Currently she is teaching Law, Economics and Theatre at the Institute "Giuseppe Mazzini" in Magione (Perugia). For over twenty years she held several training courses on the relationship (with particular reference to the doctor-patient relationship), at the universities of Perugia, Parma, Bari and at hospitals and local health units as well as at various associations, in particular those in the field of nutrition and diabetes. Maria Luisa is counselor and founder of “The Human Path”, a cultural association located in Turin. She is also President of the Association Panta Rei and the Panta Rei village, in which she lives and from which she conducts courses on interpersonal relationships and personal development. She is author of several scientific publications. From 2016 she is co-coordinator of the Campus "Health for All and Sustainable Development" at the eco-village of Panta Rei and is a founding member of the Association of Social Promotion EXLORE.
